Romulan D'deridex class Warbird

The Romulan Warbird is one of my absolute favourite designs in all of sci-fi, so it has always been on my list of things to build eventually. I have made this model as close as I could to the original two physical shooting miniatures built for Star Trek: The Next Generation back in the '80s; my final model is a fusion of those two physical models.

It's a very tough shape to tie down, and available plans are all terrible, so I used some rough photogrammetry at the beginning with the few available photos to establish proportions and relative positions of key features.

The windows make use of an OSL window box shader, and 11 different room sets that I built and rendered separately, and converted to the required layout with Nuke.
